Morning consumer results: original collection and later UK completion

The same 48 planned cells contain 37 unique submissions and 35 reviewed usable observations. None mentions Marc Moeller or recognises JP Zhang’s competition team in visible answer prose; none names Marc as contender, leader or king. Five ordinary Google result sets show seven owned-page appearances. Those appearances are separate from AI answer recognition.

This is a self-published diagnostic from the King of AEO competition team, led by JP Zhang, not independent endorsement or a reproduction of the supplied 79.8 Visibility Index. The original collection and later UK ChatGPT continuation are distinct phases of one planned cohort. No score, pooled index or title decision is inferred.

What changed between the original snapshot and the combined review?

The original 06:15 collection ended at 06:20:36 AWST with 31 attempted and 29 usable observations. Seventeen cells were unissued, one US request hit a genuine access gate, and one UK AI Mode response failed after partial generation. That original snapshot remains unchanged.

Six originally unissued UK ChatGPT cells were later authorised and submitted exactly once each, between 06:39:23 and 06:49:55 AWST. Their captures ended by 06:50:23; the remaining-five phase closed at 06:50:25. These six completions produce 37 attempted and 35 usable across the same 48 cell IDs, not a new six-cell cohort. Final review and validation occurred at 2026-10-04T22:52:02.890657+00:00 and 2026-10-04T22:54:59.767607+00:00.

Still not evaluable: eleven unissued US cells, the genuine US traffic gate and the UK partial generation failure. Their mention and title outcomes remain null, not zero-ranked answers.

Exact collection phases

• Original scheduled collection: Original snapshot retained unchanged: 17 unissued cells, one access gate and one partial generation failure.
• Continuation pre-send checks: No question sent. The pre-send text check included a non-editable Web search chip; it stopped before submission.
• First continuation question: Question 1 sent once; complete saved answer manually accepted despite an unchanged collector selector-timeout flag.
• Remaining five continuation questions: Only the remaining five unissued cells were sent once each after a narrowly scoped answer-selector correction.

Product and market denominators

What qualified the later ChatGPT answers?

The original six ChatGPT cells were unissued because the normal editor and privacy controls had not initialised. This was not established authentication denial. A normal reload of an empty page restored the ordinary controls; no question or account setting was changed during that diagnosis.

The first continuation pre-send check stopped with zero submissions because it included a non-editable Web search chip in its text comparison. Only a detached comparison copy was corrected; the live search chip remained active. Each later stored user message matched its exact frozen prompt.

All six submissions used fresh Temporary chats with explicit Unpersonalized, Web search, the same existing account and verified UK country controls. Model metadata was gpt-5-6-thinking on all six responses. No model selection was changed. Validation confirmed six distinct conversations, one matching stored user message each, and six unique submitted cell IDs; private conversation identifiers are not published.

Why do collector and review statuses differ?

UK Google AI Mode prompt 1: the collector said captured, but an explicit generation error followed a partial paragraph. Review excludes that response. Its original status remains unchanged.

UK ChatGPT prompt 1: the collector retained incomplete after its answer selector timed out, but read-only evidence contained a complete saved answer and the exact single submitted prompt. Manual review accepts that answer. It was not resubmitted. The narrowly scoped selector correction was then used only for the remaining five unissued questions.

Usability is therefore based on reviewed completeness and matching-prompt evidence, not a blanket conversion of collector statuses. Both raw classifications remain visible in the distilled records.

What appeared in ordinary Google results?

Five result sets displayed seven owned-page appearances across the optimisation satellite, contest site and Marc’s hub. These are visible result-card observations, not a measured AI rank, AI prose mention, verified AI citation or independent title endorsement.

What are the source and personalization limits?

• Google retained 543 wrapper/label records, representing 351 wrappers after deduplication within answers. The bounded resolver attempted 146: 145 external targets were observed, one attempt remained unresolved and 205 wrappers were not attempted. There were 57 distinct observed destinations. These are navigation targets, not fetched source content; Search wrappers may be ordinary-result or AI Overview links.
• ChatGPT metadata contains 19 distinct content-reference URLs, 103 distinct search-result URLs and 148 distinct retrieved-or-cited URLs. These sets overlap and must not be added together. Retrieved URLs are not all inline citations. No owned domain appeared in these observed sets.
• Perplexity retained six ten-item source panels: 60 listed URLs, 34 distinct, with no owned domains. The existing Australian account’s personalization was uncontrolled; one answer referenced the account holder’s background.
• Google’s visible content may be affected by UK consent text or collapsed AI Overview sections. Hidden or unexpanded text is not represented as fully inspected.

Why is this not evidence of a US regression?

The first US Google request hit a genuine traffic-verification gate. The remaining eleven US cells were never issued. The earlier positive US AI Mode prompt 6 was therefore not retested in this morning cohort. The prior contender mention and ordinary appearances remain separately scoped observations, not disproved by missing morning cells.

The later UK answers were collected after the original batch, not during its five-minute window. Consumer sessions also differ from the API diagnostics. No causal link to publication/indexing actions, universal absence or combined visibility index is claimed.

Provenance and unchanged results

Validation records that all 102 original capture/manifest files are unchanged, the original 29-usable snapshot is preserved, and the six continuation submissions are unique. This public report contains only allowlisted metadata and source-scope summaries. No answer bodies, screenshots, IP or routing data, account names, private paths, conversation IDs or authentication material are published.

JP Zhang’s independent competition team operates the competition and measures its results; Marc Moeller is a competitor. The supplied 79.8 official team index is unchanged. Its raw export and the supplied components’ 80.45 formula calculation remain pending reconciliation. The first title decision is due 14 October 2026.
