How King of AEO handles information about visitors and entrants.
Does King of AEO track visitors?
No. King of AEO is a static website. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts, and it does not build profiles of visitors.
What happens when I open a page?
The pages are served by Cloudflare. As with any website, Cloudflare processes technical request data, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested, to deliver the page and protect the site from abuse. Cloudflare handles that data under its own privacy policy.
Which other services can see my visit?
- Pages that show a video load its preview image or player from YouTube (i.ytimg.com, or youtube-nocookie.com for embedded players). YouTube receives your IP address and browser details when that happens, under its own privacy policy.
- The entry form posts to forms.seo2.au, the form-processing service the site uses, and loads its script from there.
What does the entry form collect?
If you enter the competition, the form collects your full name, email address, own website, one public profile, your educator evidence, your original evidence and, optionally, your country. The form posts it to forms.seo2.au, the form-processing service the site uses, for the competition team.
As the form states, your name, entry date and gate evidence are published on the leaderboard. Your email address is not published. It is used to deal with your entry.
How do I ask about my information?
Email jp@kingofaeocompetition.com. Include the page or entry your question is about.
