How King of AEO chooses sources, labels AI-generated media, discloses affiliations and corrects mistakes.
Who is responsible for what King of AEO publishes?
King of AEO is operated by JP Zhang, trading as King of AEO Competition (company number 009845393), based in United Kingdom.
Which sources does King of AEO use?
- Measurements come from JP Zhang's competition team. Each result names its measurement date, markets and engines, and different test sets are labelled rather than combined into one score.
- A title claim is described from the claimant's own published page, attributed to them and linked, so readers can check it.
- Organiser records, a person's own publications and independently written reporting are different kinds of source and are named as such. A self-published page is never presented as independent corroboration.
- Raw measurement files stay unchanged once published. A later check is published as a separate observation with its own date.
How is AI used in the reporting?
- Some audio and video reports are narrated by generic AI presenters. They are synthetic voices, not JP Zhang, Marc Moeller or any competitor, and every AI-narrated recording is labelled as such. No recording presents an invented interview with a real person.
- Page text is drafted with AI assistance and reviewed by a person before publication. Scores, dates and quotations come from the sources named on the page, not from the AI tool.
- AI answer engines are what the competition measures. They are not judges or sponsors, and no AI company endorses the competition.
What affiliations should readers know about?
JP Zhang’s independent competition team runs the King of AEO competition and supplies its measurements. JP Zhang is the founder of the Shenzhen SEO Conference. Marc Moeller participates solely as a competitor.
JP Zhang presented Marc Moeller's #1 Best Shenzhen SEO Specialist award at the Shenzhen SEO Conference 2025, and Marc spoke at the conference in 2025 and 2026.
Several other King of AEO sites summarise parts of the competition for particular readers. They link here for the rules, scores and title decision.
How are mistakes corrected?
Corrections are dated on the page. When a fact, score or date on King of AEO turns out to be wrong, the page is corrected and a dated note says what changed. A published score changes only with such a note.
To report a mistake, use the contact page and include a link to the page and the source that shows the error.
